Valentines

Tonight Josh took the older boys to the high school basketball game. Coleman crashed out for the night at 7:15. With no boys around Ashley and I decided it was the perfect opportunity for some girl time. We decided to make homemade valentines for her school class. We turned on some girl music, got out all the supplies (including jelly beans) and crafted the night away. I cut the paper and tied the bows and Ashley stuck everything on, addressed and signed all 21 valentines. We had such a good time. Thank goodness for a little girl who loves paper and ribbon and cutting as much as I do!

Adorable!!! We made Jaina's last year, and I'm sorry to say that she made me do all of the work! Jaina likes to craft, but not when she has to follow certain instructions. She's a free spirit when it comes to art :P

This year, I joined an online blogger valentine card exchange and just finished making them. It took me approximately one hour per card in the beginning until I got the hang of making it faster. There is no way Jaina is getting handmade cards this year, I am so burned out!

You guys did a GREAT job on them! Way to go, Ashley!

Every time I try and post something on your blog, Lexie always needs something so I never finish! But I love your valentines...you are such a good mom! And i wanted to let you know that we will be in Idaho for Rosie and Brandon's graduation on April 10th. I think we will be there Thursday through Saturday (9-11) and my parents will be there too and we would love to see you guys!
