"I love to see the temple. I'm going there someday..." This is a song sung often by my kids both at church and at home. While we were in Utah, my mom and I took the kids to the Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple open house. Before temples are dedicated, they are open to the general public to tour. It was raining when we went into the temple and it was still raining when we came out, so I was unable to get any pictures of the event.
My greatest hope is that my kids felt some of the peace that lies within temple walls and saw the beauty of the Lord's House and hopefully further kindled a desire to "go there someday."

I'm so glad you had a great time. When we attempted to go, we had to wait in line an hour and 20 minutes just to see the movie and it was going to be another hour to get into the temple. It was a million degrees and my kids had had enough by the end of the movie. Hooray for you guys!
