We have had a large, pre-lit, lovely artificial tree for several years now. Last year some of the lights went out on it. This year, Josh decided it would be much more fun to have a real tree. Josh purchased us a permit and on the day after Thanksgiving, we ventured out as a family to find a tree to cut down for our Christmas tree. About an hour from our house in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest we found our perfect tree. More perfect than the tree however, was the experience.
