Father.

For as long as I can remember, I've wanted a family of my own. I dreamed of the children I would have, what their names would be (for the record, none of my children have those names), how in love I would be with their dad and how he would be the best dad ever.

I wish I had been a journal writer way back then. I wish I had my "dreams" written down. Just for the sheer pleasure of looking back at them now. Although they are not recorded, they are etched in my mind. Having a family with the man of my dreams - I knew there would be nothing better.

Some days I briefly pause and I realize that I am living my dream. I am married to the love of my life, we do have a family together, and he is the best dad ever. Seriously, not every child can say their dad plays with them every day, coaches their ball team, tells them fantastic bedtime stories, gives them late night snacks when they creep upstairs and "can't sleep" and helps their mom with all the household chores too! Am I lucky or what?

I love you Josh.
xoxo

Not only are you lucky to have Josh in your life, but he's pretty darn lucky to have you as his wife :)

And, btw, I was going to name my kids Heaven and Troy, from the VC Andrews series. Funny how when you actually have kids, all those names you thought up go out the window!

I like the new picture (also, my hard drive crashed, so I've been a bit absent)
