There were no wrapped packages by their stockings, only unwrapped gifts. I explained to them that Santa never wrapped my gifts when I was little. And that only on one occasion had he wrapped theirs and that was just the year he was out to trick the boys! Whew! They were relieved that he had indeed dropped by and left gifts.
Apparently Mitchel snuck out of bed around 2 am to see if he had arrived yet. He woke up Ashley and they could not figure out if he had been there or not. She then slept with Mitchel in his bed until 7 the next morning when they woke up Josh and I. And come to find out, Justin had set up his camera to try and video Santa but it timed out. Bummer! What a clever idea.
When the kids came in our room, Coleman was also sleeping in our bed. The kids asked him if he was ready to see if Santa brought him anything. He quickly sat up and said "yes. I feel better. I got better when I heard Santa's bell ring." Not sure where he came up with that one, but he continued to tell everyone all day that he felt better when he heard Santa's bell.
They enjoyed their gifts from Santa and then unwrapped the gifts from Josh and I. Around 9 or so we loaded up and headed to my parents. The cousins were anxiously awaiting our arrival so we could open all the other gifts- gifts from each other (miller cousins to graham cousins) and the gifts from grandma and grandaddy.
We had breakfast and then sat down for a fun time of unwrapping more gifts and seeing the excitement all around. And then it was off to play with all the fun new toys - their own and their cousins!
We spent the remainder of the day there. We had a lovely ham dinner and just soaked up being together. Playing lots of games, eating, and talking. And watching the snow fall all day. We did indeed have a White Christmas.

Still waiting for pictures of Christmas morning! It looks like you had a great Christmas Eve and I love the nativity. What a beautiful stable scene. I want to see pictures of how much snow you are getting. We hear lots. It has been 80 degrees here. Kimberlee and I will be in shock when we hit the cold weather again. Happy New Year!!!
Looks like you had a very nice Christmas. I'm glad Coleman was feeling better for that. I was glad to get your Christmas card in the mail. I tried to send you guys one, but I didn't know you had moved, so it came back. Check out our blog sometime. Your family is sure cute!
