Did I accomplish all the things I set out to? Nope. Did my children always get along and play nicely with one another like I constantly long for? Not a chance. Did I remain patient and calm when things were crazy. I wish.
But, we did have an awful lot of fun. I felt like we were at such a good place this summer. No diapers or potty-training. No naps. Happy (mostly) travelers. Late nights finally equal sleeping in.
It was good. Real good. And I am missing it.
We filled our days....
playing baseball.

playing with our Boise cousins.

camping.

playing in the cold river.

hiking.

riding the alpine slide in Jackson Hole.

tubing on the reservoir in Carey.

a little fishing.

staying cool at grandma's with ice cream and a water-slide.

being with family and loving every minute.

soaking up the beauty of where we live.

Is it too early to start looking forward to next summer??

How fun!! I wish I was as good as you about taking pictures. I'm terrible at it. I've had so many fun adventures this summer and hardly any pictures!
I didn't realize you could put that many pictures in one post. It looks like it was a wonderful summer. And now I shall go about my business, longing for the sight of mountains and babies who are growing up too fast!
Yes...we are soooo blessed to live here. And you take awesome pictures. It was so fun to see them all and to see you guys the other night. It is just like old times only more kids. Where the heck is that insanely calm lake? Ive never seen water look that glassy!
